‘Bungo Stray Dogs’ season four to release in January 2023

The brand-new Bungo Stray Dogs season four trailer, along with a key image are released, which gives viewers a preview of what to expect from the narrative.

The series’ distinctive blend of intense emotion, brutal action, and comedic tone are highlighted in the trailer, which can be found on Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel. On the other hand, the visual that was shared on the anime’s Twitter page is all action, showing the lead character Atsushi Nakajima facing off against a burning building and four enemies. The fourth season of Bungo Stray Dogs will be released in January 2023, according to both pieces of promotional material.

Based on Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s ongoing manga series of the same name, the Bungo Stray Dogs anime follows the adventures of the armed detective agency, a group of supernaturally powered individuals, as they attempt to protect the city of Yokohama from the mafia. Bones, the iconic studio behind Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and The Case Study of Vanitas, is responsible for the adaptation; the first season made its debut in 2016 and the third season premiered back in 2019. The anime has consistently performed well with critics, even placing second behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on Monthly Newtype magazine’s best anime series list in 2019.

Takuya Igarashi is the director of Bungo Stray Dogs, while Yoji Enokido is in charge of the series’ composition, Taku Iwasaki is in charge of the music, and Nobuhiro Arai is responsible for the character design. Atsushi is portrayed by Yto Uemura, and Osamu Dazai by Mamoru Miyano. Asami Seto, Atsushi Ono, Chiaki Omigawa, and Hiroshi Kamiya are additional cast members. Other experienced voice actors would be joining the cast.

Yen Press distributes the manga in English. You can watch previous seasons of Bungo Stray Dogs, an anime adaptation by studio Bones, on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video.
