APC Kids announces Bizak as the new toy distributor for ‘Kid-E-Cats’ in Spain and Portugal

APC Kids, the children’s entertainment division of leading co-production and distribution company APC, has announced Bizak as the new toy distribution partner in Spain and Portugal for CTC Medias’ hit 2D animated series Kid-E-Cats.

Bizak will start the retail roll-out from Q2 2021 and handle the local distribution across the regions within the brand’s toy range. After the massive success of Kid-E-Cats season one and two on its clan channel, APC Kids has settled a deal with Spain’s RTVE for the third season.

One of the leading pre-school series in Russia, owned and managed by CTC Media and produced by Studio Metrafilms, Kid-E-Cats was recently commissioned for the fourth season and is currently being aired on Nick Jr in over 170 territories and streaming worldwide on Netflix.

APC Kids managing director Lionel Marty said, “As Kid-E-Cats global appeal continues to grow, it’s great to be able to bring additional ways for children to enjoy and interact with the loveable characters. We are thrilled Bizak is on board to roll out the toys in Spain and Portugal where we have seen great engagement – and excited to see the show going from strength to strength with our partners RTVE. We can’t wait to see the product at retail this year.”

The series story revolves around three kittens: Cookie, Pudding, and their little sister Candy who are always ready for adventures with unlimited fun and energy. These kitties are capable of most funny problem-solving suggestions, and they learn from their life’s lessons.

Bizak product manager Aitor Eguía said, “At Bizak, we are convinced of the success of Kid-E-Cats in Iberia, and we are going to put all our efforts so that Cookie, Candy and Pudding become children’s most beloved characters.”

The first three seasons of this series have seen massive success internationally, along with the product roll-out with more than 70 licenses and 1400 product lines worldwide. The educational mobile game 24Kid-E-Cats has now garnered 39 million downloads.
