Amuse Animation launches a new Car City Adventures channel on Rakuten TV

Amuse Animation studio has launched a second Car City Adventures fully localised 24/7 linear FAST channel (Free ad-supported streaming television), on the VOD streaming platform, Rakuten TV.

The channel will be available to stream this August on Rakuten TV, on its platforms in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Poland. The channel will be available to view in ten languages in 13 countries globally.

Rakuten TV chief content officer Marcos Milanez expressed, “We’re thrilled to have Car City Adventures at Rakuten TV. The Fast channel is inspired by Amuse Animation’s digital IP Car City. Car City Adventures features 24 of Amuse Animation’s vehicle-themed series, which is targeted at preschool kids and families. The channel offers a blend of adventure, comedy, and edutainment, starring every manner of vehicle. The programming features a mix of dialogue, songs, narratives, and non-dialogue episodes, formatted into themed 30-minute blocks that promote values such as friendship, teamwork, kindness, empathy, and gratitude. The original content from Amuse Animation has garnered over 10 billion views on YouTube across the globe and 13 billion views in China.

Amuse Animation’s catalogue of content include:

  • Miliki Family: Miliki Jr. explores his home with Grandpa Miliki, adding fantasy and singing to their adventures.
  • IncrediTales: Modern twists on fairy tales, offering fun and relatable stories for the whole family. A premium spin-off is in development.

The studio is based in Spain with branches in France and China. It focuses on creating preschool content, educational apps and audiobooks and 2D and 3D animation production services. It distributes third-party content in the Chinese market.
