Adult Swim reveals lineup for San Diego Comic Con, including ‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ premiere

Adult Swim will premiere its highly anticipated show Rick and Morty: The Anime at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). The American adult-oriented television subsidiary of Warner Bros. Television Studios has revealed its line-up for the Comic Con which is scheduled from 25 to 28 July 2024.

Apart from the new Rick and Morty show, Adult Swim will premiere its other shows Common Side Effects and a screening presentation for the upcoming season of My Adventures with Superman in a pirate themed fan party dubbed as “Pirate Parrrty.”

Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen stated about the fan party, “For reasons too long to get into, we at Adult Swim have always used a pirate ship (and, owls, but maybe we’ll do that at a later con) as a metaphor for how we operate. We thought, since we like to think of us, fans and network, as all one thing, that we should bring the pirate ship to the harbour of San Diego this year and let everyone join us on the – erm – poop deck.”

The studio’s presentation will be located on the Green space outside the San Diego Convention Center (5th Avenue Landing and Convention Way). It’s “Pirate Parrrty” will include custom games, exclusive first looks, giveaways, and evening entertainment including DJ laser sets.

The panel events will feature a series of panels that will include premieres, news and interactions from series creators and voiceover artists

The space will host a series of special evening events:
