Animation production studio A Productions has been selected to work on a brand new off-shoot of the hit children’s show, Pip and Posy. The new show Pip and Posy Let’s Learn (for age three plus) will be available on British TV channel Sky Kids in October.
Like the original series, the off-shoot will be produced by Magic Light Pictures with animation services provided by A Productions. It is based on the books illustrated by Axel Scheffler (The Gruffalo).
A Productions is part of Cyber Group Studios, an international producer and distributor of animated programmes.
Here’s a synopsis of the new show: Viewers will play with Pip, Posy and their friends as they use their amazing sense of fun, imagination and rhyme to explore a range of subjects. The series aims to teach concepts from the early years curriculum, such as shape sorting and simple maths, in exciting and inventive ways.
“We are hugely excited to have begun animation on Pip and Posy Let’s Learn with Magic Light Pictures,” said A Productions joint managing director Katherine McQueen. “We are very much looking forward to helping to bring these much-loved characters to life for this new off-shoot series, which will see Pip and Posy bring their sense of fun and playfulness to learning in their own unique way.”
