After successful debuts of several Shorts Film Festivals at Delhi, Noida, Bangalore and Kolkata, Miniboxoffice will now organize the 2ND Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival on 14th December, 2013. It will offer an opportunity to Film Makers to screen their 2D/3D Animation, VFX and other short documentaries during this festival.
Adding to the Best animation film award and VFX award, this edition also includes several award categories in Production, Creativity, Performance and Music Video. The last day for film submissions is 15th November, 2013.
Talking to AnimationXpress.com about the mission of this fest, Rambhul Singh, Marketing Head of Miniboxoffice and Director of MSIFF-13 says, “The festival aims to provide the fresh and experienced film makers a networking opportunity within the industry & introducing latest trends in cinema to the filmmakers.”
Experts from Indian Animation Film and Short Film Industry are also invited for this fest. A Master Class on ‘Marketing, Distribution & Revenue generation through Short Films’ by Rambhul Singh will be the key attraction of this Festival .
Till date, the festival has received great responses in the form of entries from more than 35 countries including Spain, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Lebanon, Israel, Morocco, Mexico, Iran, Cananda, Malaysia.

Highlighting the basis of the awards, Rambhul Singh concludes, “The Winners for this festival will be judged on the basis of Interesting Story Line, Creative Concept Presentation and Technical Craft.”
