The 14th edition of the Broadcast India show gets under way from today. The show includes a 2 day symposium with discussions and presentations on Film & Video production, Post Production, NonLinear Editing, Visual Effects, Compositing, Audio, Digital Cinema, Mpeg 4 and Digital Radio.
The animation angle at the symposium is representated by Rajiv Sangari of Padmalaya who shall be speaking on ‘Knowledge and Education in animation’ and by Biren Ghose who shall speak on ‘Potential of India as the No1 animation production source for the the international animation industry’.
The symposium shall be held on 26-27 October at the Centrum, Centre1, World Trade Center, Mumbai.
The exhibition begins on 28 October and is on till the 30th. According to the show’s official publication, Broadcast Bulletin, more than 380 leading international companies are to exhibit thousands of products.
Some of the exhibitors include Seagate, Panasonic, Apple, JVC, Discreet, Quantel, Leitch, Matrox, Benchmark, Cintel, Panther, Ikegami and Avid amongst others.
