NY VFXWAALA co-founder Naveen Paul opens up about remote pipelines; reveals VFX of ‘Khuda Hafiz’ was worked on remotely

VFX remote pipelines — have become the prime subject of interest for —Media & Entertainment world. While some see it as a cost effective post-production solution — borne out of the necessities triggered by the lockdown, others long to go to their offices — due to distance-related constraints.

Initially, operations at post production studios might have come to a grinding halt but admirably enough, VFX studios picked up the momentum and streamlined work from home pipelines in short amount of time. 

In a freewheeling chat with AnimationXpress & Indian Television Dot Com Group Editor-In-Chief and Founder Anil Wanvari spoke to NY VFXWAALA co-founder Naveen Paul about remote pipelines and post-covid 19 VFX scenario.

Speaking about the recent movie their studio has worked on, he revealed, Khuda Hafiz trailer just came out. We delivered 500 shots, the deadline was short we have worked hastily and completely remotely. It releases soon on DisneyPlusHotstar.”

Khuda Haafiz is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic action thriller film inspired from real incidents and directed by Faruk Kabir. It stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in prominent roles, while Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra and Shiv Pandit appear as part of supporting cast.
Apart from Khuda Hafiz, NY VFXWAALA has also remotely worked on Suryavanshi which is touted to be a big ticket and VFX-heavy Bollywood project.
