The British Council Library in collaboration with TASI recently held a series of screenings of The Best of British Animation at Juhu Mocha from 12 to 14 June.

The young hep crowd at Mocha was exposed to the beauty of animation and were fortunate to be able to attend presentations from experts like Vaibhav Kumaresh who in his peppy and catchy manner gave the audience a glimpse into how animation was done.

nullThe Indian stop motion maestro discussed the production process of Horn Ok Please and even as the presentation was on, one could judge from the reactions of the audience that they were astonished to see the amount of effort that goes into animating even a single frame.

TASI also announced that they were planning to conduct sessions in colleges and art schools for students who might be considering animation as a career option. Yet another event that the society is organising is at Famous Studios where studios will be invited to showcase their work.
