KOCCA (The Korea Culture & Content Agency) announced yesterday that Character Korea Co., Ltd, one of the leading Korean digital content agencies has secured a licensing agreement with Italian-based licensing agent, The Licensing Factory for its popular Korean character Jongno 7.
Under the KOCCA umbrella, Character Korea has selected The Licensing Factory to represent the merchandise licensing rights for Jongno 7 across Europe, especially in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Jongno 7, designed by INJIS Content Studio, is a fantasy village where magic fairy Moll and other creatures live. Moll drives a magic bus that transports his friends to fairy lands.
“We’re excited to have The Licensing Factory on board in Europe”, said Min KIM, Marketing Manager of Character Korea. “Jongno7 is poised to capture the imaginations of the children. Kids in Europe will love it!”
Character Korea is currently producing the Jongno 7 series, a 3D TV animation (20 x 5′) and a 3D mobile animation (100 x 1′) that are due to be completed by May 2006.
