Jackie Chan to lend his voice for animated feature, ‘Once Upon a Zodiac’

Jackie Chan will be one of the voices in an animated feature from Toonbox Entertainment and GAMA Entertainment, titled Once Upon a Zodiac. Chan will also serve as the executive producer for the movie which is now in production stage.

“We are proud to have Jackie Chan part of this film as an executive producer. We are captivated by Jackie Chan’s talent and the leadership that he brings to our animated film,” said producer Galen Walker.

Set in a world populated with the animals of zodiac, the film follows a group of not-yet-friends who are brought together by fate. Chan will voice Zell, an elderly cat sage who speaks with wisdom and charisma.

Chan have voiced Mr. Feng in The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, and Monkey in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. He also did voiceover work for the Chinese edition of Disney’s Mulan, and starred in his own animated series, Jackie Chan Adventures.

Once Upon a Zodiac is a production of Toonbox Entertainment and GAMA Entertainment with Galen Walker and Hong Kim producing jointly.
