Delhi based media house and animation studio Moving Picture Co India has come up with a novel idea to generate more awareness and revenue out of its existing animation IP, Jungle Tales.

Planking on the inherent moral values and the generous usage of proverbs in its storyline, MPC india is in the midst of creating an educational kit around the series.

Speaking to Animation ‘xpress, MPC India CEO Ramesh Sharma said that, “In our 3 years of experience in animation we have come to realise that marketing is key to recovery of investments- especially global marketing- but there has to be a principal market. And we feel the need to develop India as a market.”

“We are now packaging our animation IP Jungle Tales into VCD/DVDs and supporting it with a printed booklet- so that the series becomes a learning tool. This can be used to teach language- comprehension- understanding of proverbs- as well as the morals that each episode teaches. We are hopeful this will fit into the new teaching methods used in many Indian schools” he added.

MPC India is also planning to come up with a sequel for Jungle Tales. Titled Junglee Jasoos, the series will feature characters from the original series playing the roles of detectives in the Jungle. The media house claims to have begun negotiations with leading kids satellite channels for the same.
