The Netflix style game streaming service Nvidia’s GeForce Now is bringing some big games from another top studio to its catalog. Nvidia recently announced that one of the leading game publisher, Square Enix would bring five games to GeForce Now over the course of 2016. The critically acclaimed 2013 series reboot Tomb Raider would be the first game which will launch on GeForce Now and will be available to all the subscribed users.
After Tomb Raider, Nvidia and Square Enix will be coming out with Sleeping Dogs, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Quantum Conundrum, and Murdered: Soul Suspect. Nvidia says it expects to make more announcements this year that are similar to today’s Square Enix partnership.
With Square Enix’s five games coming in, the Geforce Now library consists of 84 games, so once the user takes up the $7.99 subscription, they can play these games at no additional cost and how much ever they want.
As for gamers who want to first try their hand on the GeForce NOW that works on SHIELD devices, there’s a three month trial available.
Nvidia didn’t give out any specifics as to when each game would hit GeForce Now, but the company says to watch for “Shield Tuesday” announcements in the coming months.
