Twitter has overall had a bad year in terms of diversity and inclusion, with people raising queries about the hires working at the company and has hired Jeffrey Siminoff to replace Janet Van Huysse as the company’s new vice president of diversity and inclusion.
Twitter, head of human resources, Brian Schipper announced the news on Twitter. Siminoff, starts his stint with Twitter in January, has worked previously with Apple, as the director of worldwide inclusion and diversity from September 2013 up until now. His diversity and inclusion spell does not end there. Before Apple, he led global diversity and inclusion at Morgan Stanley for three years. ofOut Leadership, a global LGBT leadership organization is also his foundation.
