India International Animation and Cartoon Film Festival (IIACFF), a platform to create and exhibit for the talented young and amateur animators, has hit the ground at Hotel Radisson Blu, Kaushambi at Ghaziabad, Delhi from 1-4 October, 2015.
The festival has received 782 entries and will witness major players in the field of animation and cartoons coming in from countries like US, UK, Germany, France, Israel and Egypt. The festival is a filled with creativity, skills and business opportunities and the young animators and cartoonists of India have a golden opportunity to display their potential and innovation to change the phase of the industry. Various categories of films like 2D, 3D, VFX and stop motion will be screened in the next two days of the festival followed by an award ceremony on the final day.
The festival intends to be a boon to gauge more international clients, applaud young talent and also enhance the growth of animation and cartoon industry in India. Indian students will get a direct chance to compete with students abroad. Moreover, the festival also aims to churn out and tap the artistic work of the young budding bunch of creators.
