Anbean is back with its 4th ART BY CHANCE Short Film Festival!
Selected as one of the 20 coolest festivals of the year by the MovieMaker Magazine, Art By Chance is one of the biggest public art organizations of the world and this year’s fest will take place in October.
Art by Chance accepts all kinds of movie entries including animation.
Particiapnts wanting to give in their movies for this year’s fest will have to create a film of upto 30 seconds on the theme titled ‘Home’.
Known as Largest Public Art, This fest gives a unique platform to the participants in which their movies get chance to be screened all over the world in public places such as malls, airports, metro stations and bars and the screening will take place in countries like Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Spain, Holland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
ART BY CHANCE movie Selection is done by prestigious international jury and for sure this competition provides great advantage for film makers to show their work to professionals. This year’s Art By Chance jury Includes renowned names, Don Hahn (Producer at Walt Disney)Johanna von (Fischer Director of the British Independent Film Awards)Nick Roddick (Film Journalist and Course Director, MA Film Curating, London Film School)David Gilmour (Writer) The Jury, rates the films based on criteria such as story telling, technique and suitability for theme.
Speaking to Animationxpress.com, Art By Chance Film Festival Team shared, “Our main motivation is put a good selection up on a theme ever year. Every year every selection reflects the global diversity and end of the day you look at the global video patchwork comes together from all over the world. Every year in the selection we have numerous winners who gets a chance to reach millions of people in more than 200 cities.”
The deadline for submitting movies is now 15th Oct 2012. Entry is open to both animations and movies of all kinds with the exception of training and advertising films. Participants may submit more than one entry and it could be an individual or team work too.
