Global distributor, Jetpack Distribution, has secured a broadcast deal with Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service, iflix, for a broad range of programming from across their portfolio.
iflix, which currently broadcasts across Malaysia and the Philippines, has picked up 187 hours of programming by acquiring rights to 12 series’ of Jetpack’s programming, including titles such as pre-school puppet live-action series The Moe Show (52 x 11’), the EMMY nominated docudrama, Heart & Soul (26 x 30’) and 2D animation, Jamie’s Got Tentacles (104 x 11’).
Commenting on the agreement, Jetpack Distribution CEO Dominic Gardiner said: “We are delighted to be partnering with exciting new start-up iflix in Southeast Asia. Jetpack’s programming is a perfect fit for iflix and we look forward to working alongside them as we build our brands in Southeast Asia.”
