Ahmedabad Based Brain Arts Studio Working on Animated Vachanamrut DVD Series
Founded in 2010, Brain Arts Studio is established with the purpose of bringing about 3D Animation, VFX mainly for television, films and gaming industry for worldwide customers and is currently working on Vachanamrut, a 108 DVD Series covering 273 Episodes of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan teachings.
Vachanamrut contains the divine speech of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and is filled with words of his wisdom. It is a self-evident scripture summarizing other scriptures like the Vedas, the Bhagawat, the Bhagwad Gita, the Upanishads and the six systems of Indian philosophy and consists of solution to each and every problem that a human being faces in his lifetime.
With each episode of 35 mins, the focused areas of this animated series revolve around how to realize, develop faith, cool down anger, overcome depression,remove ego and jealously.
Shyam Vasani is the Director of this Animated Series.3D animation with a semi realistic look is used to execute Vachanamrut and the series is aimed at mass audience. Brain Arts Studio started working on Vachanamrut from March 2010 and has completed 75 % of its work with two DVDs consisting of 58 episodes. The look and feel of this DVD is composed with ancient culture and people. The 1st Volume of Vachanamrut will release in Gujarati, Hindi and English Languages in October this year and will be available at all Swaminarayan Temples worldwide at a cost of INR.175/-. The DVD will be out on Blu-ray Disc Format.
Sharing thoughts on the Animated Vachanamrut DVD Series, Shyam Vasani, Founder of Brain Arts Studio, said, “Being ardent follower of Swaminarayan it has always been my dream to dedicate something special to him. My guru Sadguru Dhyaniswami Hariswarupdasji inspired me to come up with this divine project. Vachanamrut has always been an important part of my life and for delivering good animated stuff I studied and understood various scriptures by many of our ancient saints.
As a director, I have grown with every project. Understanding the medium of animation deeper and going through the whole process of understanding the script and designing it for a different medium was very interesting for me. Developing a written mythological tale into an animated series was a very hard yet exciting journey.”
Vachanamrut is originally written by Saints, Gopalanand Swami, and Bhrahmanand Swami, Muktanand Swami, Nityanand Swami, Sukanand Swami and is a holy book of spiritual Satsang known as ‘Vachanamrut’. Selected scriptures from this holy book are taken and developed for using the animation medium.
The Voice over for this animated DVD series is given by Archan Trivedi, who is a singer, a theatre actor as well as a voice artist.
Highlighting on the voice over for Vachanamrut, Archan Trivedi, stated, “I read the script and understood the character as deeply as I could and tried to take the role of the character himself, and then recited the dialogue.”
The overall budget of this animated series is INR.13 Crore with each volume budgeted at INR.12 Lacs.
Brain Arts Studio has developed their personalized tools and software’s for animating Vachanamrut with use of the CGI software’s available in the Industry. Working on all the modules for Animating Vachanamrut was a task for the Brain Arts team with Clothing and Rendering being the major challenge.
Presently, Brain Arts Studio is working on “Miyafuski” an animated TV series, and also animated full length feature films, ‘Summer Camp’ and ‘BAL Ghanshyam’.
