Maya Digital Studios, the company that pioneered the art & technology of animation & visual effects in India in the 1990s, and is also a leading 2D to 3D conversion studio; has recently expanded its operations in Goa. Its current operations are in Mumbai & Goa. The current employee strength at Maya is 400, 250 in the Mumbai studio and 150 in the Goa studio. The company is looking at hiring 400 more freshers across both its studio facilities, 200 in Mumbai & 200 in Goa over the next two months. The department-wise breakup for the same is as under:

Speaking about the fresh recruitments at Maya, Ankita Agarwal – Manager – Human Resources said, “Maya has always nurtured young talent. Presently we are also in talks with all the renowned training institutes like MAAC, Arena, Frameboxx and others for the recruitments. These recruited candidates will work on Maya’s current projects, which include the animated TV series, The Adventures of Motu Patlu, based on the popular Indian comic brand, LotPot comics; The Centsables, an animated TV series from USA, 2D to Stereoscopic 3D conversion of the animated film Sons of Ram by ACK Media, and 2D to Stereoscopic 3D conversion of one Indian cinema’s cult classics, Sholay.”
