‘Spy x Family Code: White’ comes to PVR Inox in India

The anime movie Spy x Family Code: White is all set to hit the PVR Inox screens in India on 19 July 2024.

With this, the family returns with another adventure for the books that packs a powerful punch. The film is directed by Takashi Katagiri, with the screenplay by Ichirō Ōkouchi, ensuring that the essence of the original series is preserved while introducing new and exciting elements.

The official synopsis reads: The film follows Loid Forger, a spy, and Yor Forger also known as The Thorn Princess, an assassin, who try to maintain their double lives while trying to be the perfect “family”. They have an adopted daughter, Anya Forger, who is secretly a telepath and knows the secrets her parents are withholding from her. Getting a new mission, Loid gets assigned to Operation Strix, which coincides with Anya’s cooking competition for Eden Academy.

The Spy x Family series is also a popular manga series with over 30 million copies sold and is now getting ready to make waves in Indian audiences. When Anya, the youngest member of the family, stumbles upon a mysterious dessert that holds the key to world peace, the family must embark on a journey to discover the truth behind the sweet delicacy, Melemele (a traditional sweet from the Frizis region) and save the world from the sour aftermath. Along the way, they face various challenges and obstacles, but their bond as a family helps them overcome any difficulty.

The anime movie has received a 94 per cent on the Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes with a 98 per cent in the audience score. The film has also grossed over US$59 million worldwide.
