PotenDogs is a smash-hit Korean animated series that follows the adventures of a group of canine superheroes who use their powers to help animals and humans.
The World Animal Awareness Society executive director and producer / showrunner for the English language adaptation of the award-winning series, Tom McPhee, announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to support the production of the first 36 episodes of the series in San Antonio, Texas.
“We’re thrilled to launch this Kickstarter campaign for PotenDogs,” said McPhee. “Our mission is to entertain audiences of all ages while also shining a light on important animal welfare issues. We believe that PotenDogs has the potential to be a powerful force for good, and we’re excited to bring this project to life with the help of our backers.”
“We’re committed to making PotenDogs the best it can be, and we’re grateful for the support of our backers,” said associate producer Charlie Albers. “With their help, we can create a show that not only entertains but also inspires positive change for animals around the world.”
The show has already garnered attention from animal welfare organisations, and the World Animal Awareness Society is excited about the potential impact the show could have.
The show’s Kickstarter campaign will run until 10 May 2023, with a funding goal of $24,000. Backers who pledge their support will have the opportunity to receive a range of rewards, including exclusive merchandise, behind-the-scenes access, and even the chance to have their own voice featured in an episode of the series.
