Check out Netflix’s lineup of animated series and movies for June

Netflix has unveiled its lineup of new series, season and movie premieres throughout June, and despite the gloomy reports of cancelled projects, there are still some promising animated titles suitable to a variety of audiences coming down the pipe this month.

Of course, the month kicks off with the second annual Geeked Week virtual genre fan event (6-10 June), jam-packed with teasers, first-looks and even more announcements of what’s to come.

The streamer is also getting into the spirit of LGBTQIA+ visibility with its special Shine with Pride collection, launching 31 May for Pride Month. Queer stories are in the spotlight, with documentaries, dramas, comedies, including The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Big Mouth, The Legend of Korra, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, The Dragon Prince and Dean DeBlois’s How to Train Your Dragon in the “LGBTQ Directors” section.
