Here are all the details of Pokémon Festival of Colours 2022

Trainers in India will be introduced to a splash of colours during the global Festival of Colours 2022. Taking place from 15 to 20 March 2022, Oricorio, the dancing Pokémon, will be making its debut in its regional form besides the appearance of colourful Pokémon. Trainers will be able to use face sticker avatar items styled as three different face colours for free from the in-game shop during and after the event.

In celebration of the event, trainers in India will be able to work together in a regional challenge on 18 March. Once they catch over two million Pokémon, they will be able to enjoy a 2x catch candy bonus for the remainder of the event.

Trainers in India will also be able to purchase a celebratory box containing a Lucky Egg, a Lure Module, a Rainy Lure Module and a Mossy Lure Module for 125 PokéCoins to take advantage of the Lure bonuses active during the festival of colors.

The Pokémon Oricorio is one that has different Styles. Different Styles of Oricorio such as Baile Style, Pom-Pom Style, Pa’u Style will be appearing in different parts of the world. Trainers in India should keep an eye out for which Oricorio Style they encounter.

Shiny Smeargle also makes an appearance during the event. The event is one of the few occasions where Trainers in Pokémon GO have a chance to encounter a Shiny Smeargle.

In the lead up to the festival of colours, trainers in Delhi will be able to attend a special event being organised at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, from 11 am to 5 pm on 13 March. During this Community Day event, Trainers all over India can encounter Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew–the mouse Pokémon. It will be appearing more frequently in the wild and when evolved during the event will know an exclusive attack.

Last year, the festival of colors was the first regional in-game event for India, where Trainers in India experienced a fluttering of festive hues. Pokémon associated with different colours of the festival of colours were attracted to Incense more frequently than normal. As part of the festival of colours celebration, two Holi costumes were released for all trainers.
