Marvel Studios dropped the final trailer for Chloe Zhao’s highly-anticipated directorial movie Eternals.
The third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s phase four arrives in theaters on 5 November.
The new trailer reveals more about the immortal alien race which arrived on Earth 7,000 years ago to protect humans from Deviants (enemies). It also features monstrous creatures and powerful extraterrestrial cosmic beings which forces the Eternals to interfere in events on Earth. Both the Eternals and the Deviants have been created by Celestials.
The trailer also features every member of the Eternals including Gemma Chan as Sersi, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Angelina Jolie as Thena. Ajak and Ikaris seemingly go on a quest to reunite all the Eternals.
The trailer also asks the questions that fans have been wondering about, why didn’t Eternals save the Earth from Thanos. This can be seen when Sersi said that the Eternals had been instructed not to get involved in Earth matters unless Deviants were involved. However it is unclear that who instructed them to do so. Deviants also have supreme celestial powers which was showcased in the trailer.
Kevin Feige and Nate Moore serve as the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo and Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is done by Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh.
Marvel Studios has also unveiled a brand-new poster for the upcoming globetrotting adventure!
