Microsoft recently conducted its ‘Xbox 360 ‘Good Luck India‘ campaign to wish luck to the Indian cricket team for the World Cup 2007.
The XBOX 360 road show moved around major retail points and high footfalls areas across eight cities where cricket fans signed good luck messages for the Men in Blue.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com, Ashim Mathur, Marketing Head, Entertainment and Devices Division, Microsoft India commented at the start of the campaign, “The World Cup is like a major festival in a cricket loving country like ours and XBOX 360 is going to reach out to cricket and sports fans to engage and participate with them as they wish their heroes luck for the event ahead”
“Along with this Good Luck road show we will also give a sneak preview of the soon to be launched ‘Yuvraj Singh International cricket 2007‘ an exclusive game for Xbox 360” he added.
The campaign started on February 23rd at Kolkata and concluded at Mumbai on 2nd March 2007 rolling over Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Pune.
