The animation, visual effects and gaming industry in India is being honoured at the FICCI Frames 2016 with the prestigious Best Animated Frames (BAF) Awards.

The Case study of the year goes to Real Cricket game for Nautilus Mobile.
The Series of the year goes to ZQ’s Bandhbudh aur Budbak.
The New Entry Kids Network goes to Nickelodeon’s Shiva.
The New Animation Entrant award goes to Sphereorigins Multivision and HopMotion’s Chhoti Anandi.

The SPECIAL JURY Award [Animated Short Film – Professional] goes to Tickles and Hugs by Tulir and Girgit Studios.
The Best Animated Short Film Student award Indian and International award goes to Debanjan Nandy’s Chhaya.

These awards have recognised both veteran and young talent in the animation, visual effects and gaming genre in all forms of content creation right from short films, feature length films to commercials.
The BAF Awards, a prestige and honour in itself, took place on 30 March, 2016 at Hotel Renaissance, Powai, Mumbai at FICCI Frames 2016.
