The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama is all set to get animated as she has teamed up with Disney Junior for a special episode of children’s animated series Doc McStuffins.
The episode shall show Obama inviting Doc and other children who are making a difference in their communities to the White House to be honoured.
Michelle Obama then appoints Doc, a six-year-old girl who heals stuffed animals and broken playthings as the official White House “toy doctor”.
The episode featuring Michelle Obama airs 5 October on the occasion of Child Health Day. Obama shall also sit down with “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert and present a challenge in Lifetime’s “Project Runway Junior.”
Doc McStuffins made waves worldwide since the show first hit TV screens in 2012. Doc is inspired by her mother, a real life doctor, and runs her own clinic – a playhouse in her garden – where she helps toys in need.
Doc McStuffins Goes to Washington shall air 9:00 am 5 October on Disney Junior.
