GSN Games, which specialises in social casino games, has appointed Arun Dutta as their new country manager of GSN Games India. The acquisition comes through with their purchase Bash Gaming, widely known for Bingo Bash, which is often termed as the most successful mobile game developed in India.
Dutta has dedicated 20 years of his life in key leadership roles. He has overseen the product supervision and engineering of famed companies such as Danaher Corporation and Hewlett-Packard.
Prior to his post in GSN Games India, he was associated with NASDAQ-listed cloud-based learning and talent management software developer: Cornerstone On Demand, as a country head of global technology services and Indian operations.
Commenting on the appointment, GSN, chief operating officer, Steve Brunell asserted, “Arun brings extensive experience building and leading technology organisations, with great success in developing high-quality products and services that feature world class user experiences.”
Brunell further added, “GSN Games India has redefined what an India-led game studio can accomplish, and we look forward to reaching new levels of success with Arun at the helm of GSN Games India.”
Stating his views on the matter, Dutta said, “GSN Games India is a one of a kind development studio in India, building games from the ground up that delight millions of players worldwide,” he then added, “I look forward to maximising our current opportunities, strengthening local innovations and contributing to the growth of the company.”
Founded in 2010 and acquired by GSN Games in 2014 as Bash Gaming, GSN Games India is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment and AT&T Entertainment Group. The company created and marketed Bingo Bash, to make it one of the highest grossing mobile game ever created in India.
