MSI launches ‘Monster Hunter’ Edition laptop and new handheld in India

Gaming PC hardware company MSI has launched its Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition laptop along with its Claw gaming handheld in India.

MSI Claw is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor and is designed with anthropometry in mind. The device features new BIOS and GPU drivers, enabling it to smoothly run the top 100 most popular games on Steam, the company has claimed. Other features of the handheld include 7″ FHD 120Hz touch display, 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut to enhance visuals, Cooler Boost HyperFlow technology to manage thermal output, and 53WHr battery and 65W fast charging capability for extended gaming sessions.

MSI Claw’s analog sticks and ABXY buttons are surrounded by RGB light rings. The Hall Effect Sensors in both analog sticks and LT/RT triggers expand the lifespan by avoiding physical contact for activation.

The company’s Crosshair 16 HX Monster Hunter Edition is crafted in partnership with leading game developer Capcom, the studio behind Street Fighter and Resident Evil franchises, who’re also celebrating their 20th anniversary alongside MSI laptops. The laptop boasts an engraving of Rathalos – a dragon-esque monster from the Monster Hunter video-game franchise – on the cover and a unique dragon totem on the touchpad. The gaming laptop is equipped with a 24-zone RGB keyboard for aesthetics. The portable laptop comes with the latest Intel Core processor (i7 14700HX) and Nvidia GeForce RTX4060 Laptop GPU which allows for ray tracing in game for more believable and realistic visuals.

The gaming handheld Claw is available in the price range of Rs 68,000 to Rs 90,000 depending on its specs. The laptop is available at a starting price of Rs 1,67,990.
