Disney+ drops official trailer for Pixar Popcorn streaming 22 January onwards

Disney+ has shared the trailer for Pixar Popcorn, which premieres 22 January exclusively on Disney+. The slew of new animated shorts will feature iconic Pixar characters from acclaimed films ranging from Toy Story and Soul, to The Incredibles and Cars.

The mini-shorts include Dancing with the Cars from Cars, Unparalleled Parking, Soul of the City from Soul, Cookie Num Num and Chore Day: The Incredibles Way from The Incredibles, Dory Finding from Dory, A Day in the Life of the Dead from Coco and To Fitness and Beyond and Fluffy Stuff with Ducky & Bunny from Toy Story.

Pixar Popcorn will mark Disney+’s first original animation release of the year. There are a lot more features slated to premiere on Disney+ in the coming months.

Monsters at Work, an animated series based on Pixar’s Monsters, Inc films, is expected to premiere on the streaming service in early 2021. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Raya and the Last Dragon will premiere on 5 March in theaters and on Disney+ simultaneously. What If…?, an animated Marvel Cinematic Universe alt-history anthology series, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a new clone trooper-focused series from Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian), are expected to debut in mid-2021.
